Winter Wonderland - Visit now!
On December 1st the Mayor of Fareham, Councillor Mrs Katrina Trott opened the Winter Wonderland displays in the Centre. Based on Hans Christian Anderson’s story of the Snow Queen, there are two displays to visit, near M&S and Bhs, which depict the enchanted garden with Gerda and her faithful polar bear and reindeer.
The Nativity scene this year, has been organised by Fareham Churches Together and Fareham in Bloom, who have produced a display with a difference! Still with the true meaning of Christmas as its theme, it has been set in a domestic environment to bring the message home to shoppers.
If you want to give beautifully wrapped presents, and give a small donation
to charity at the same time, why not make your way along to the annual
Christmas gift wrap service near The Body Shop on Thursday December
20th. Gifts will be wrapped for £1 for the first
item and 50p each for the next two, and the Wessex Cancer Trust will
benefit.
