Recycle AND raise money for a worthy cause with Fareham Shopping Centre’s current green campaign.
All you have to do is pick up a stamp collection bag from our new Green Zone and start to save used postage stamps. When your bag is full, return it to the Green Zone. Fareham Shopping Centre will deliver all the donated stamps to The Stubbington Ark who will sell them to a recycling company.
The Stubbington Ark is the focus for local RSPCA animal welfare services in the Portsmouth and Southampton area. It provides shelter for all manner of animals, domestic and wildlife, and there are usually more than 600 animals on site at any one time. They receive no Government funding or lottery grants and have to raise over £2,000 per day to keep the shelter running.
So hurry on down to the Green Zone, next to Café Giardino, and pick up a stamp collection bag. While you are there, you can learn how the Centre works hard to be green and pick up some green hints and tips. What’s more, if you have any green ideas of your own, write them down and bring them along. We can then share them with other shoppers. Remember – small steps lead to BIG changes.
